Rama with the help of his brother, Lakshman, and an army of monkeys under the leadership of Hanuman, rescued Sita
So, Hanuman plays the most important role in the Ramayana. He is also called "SolinSelvan". So, in the Vishnu Temple,

GNANAPURI 32 FEET SRI SANKATAHARA MANGALA VISWARUPA ANJANEYAR (HANUMAN) TEMPLE

A massive 32-feet Sri Sankatahara Mangala Viswarupa Anjaneya (Hanuman) idol was consecrated at Thiruvonamangalam village on Kumbakonam - Alankudi road in Tiruvarur district. Hundreds of people witnessed the holy event and worshipped Lord Anjaneya. The stone idol weighing 60 tonnes has been sculpted by Walajabad Puliyampadi Ramakrishna Sthapathi and his sons. The idol was lifted by a crane and installed at the Gnanapuri. According to S.Ramani Anna, founder-cum-managing trustee of Viswa Samrashana Maruthi Sevasramam Trust, nine acres of land has been allotted for the project. Out of this, the temple will be constructed on 5.5 acres of land. Four unique herbs from Sanjeevi Barvatham were placed on the deity.   It is very near to Guru Kshetram Alangudi. This place will be popularly known as  "GNANAPURI". This great bhagavat kainkaryam is undertaken by great Sri Ramani Anna, who had already constructed 2 famous Anjeneya Temples viz a) Nanganallur in Chennai  and  b) Panchavati near Pondicherry.

Lord Sani and Lord Hanuman

Load Sani  climbed on to Lord Hanuman’s shoulder and head when hanuman doing the work to help Rama in Ramayana, and that he (Hanuman) was coming under the effects of the influence of Shani with more disturbances . At that time, According to Hanuman’s request, Sani come down and caught his (Hanuman) leg portion. At that moment, Hanuman assumed a large size and press with his (hanuman) leg, Shani was caught painfully. As the pain was unbearable, Shani requested Hanuman to release him, promising that if a person prayed to Hanuman, he (Shani) would moderate the evil  effects of his influence on that person; following this, Hanuman released Shani. We see, in some temple, Hanuman deity and sani with his feet. This is the special significance of  Hanuman.So, if one can pray and do the Archana and Hanuman on the Anjaneya Jayanthi Day,  they will get the relief from the influence of Sani.

PANCHAMUGA ANJANEYAR TEMPLE

Sri Panchamuga Anjaneya appears with 5 faces, ten hands  Pachamuga Anjaneya's five faces are  his own in the centre, surrounded byGaruda, Hayagreeva, Narasimha and Varaha. Hayagreeva is the horse form of Lord Vishnu, Narasimha the lion and Varaha the boar This temple is in Vadagudi Near Nannilam . Bus root is Kumbakonam to Nannilam with 1 hour Journey from Kumbakonam.

Ananthamangalam Anjaneyar temple

He is also called “Trinetra Dasapuja Veera Anjaneyar“. Ananthamangalam is located 5 Kms from Thirukkadaiyur. Ananthamangalam is located about a kilo metre from the highway connecting Tharangambadi and Thirukkadaiyur. People from all over TamilNadu visit the temple of Lord Anjaneyar for His grace. The divine statue of Anjaneya here is unique with its three eyes and ten hands. Special worship of Anjaneya is held on Saturdays and on the days of Amavasya.
